Summer University Keynote Address:  “The Third Industrial Revolution”

Mr. Rifkin gave the opening keynote address to the European Ideas Network, a pan-European think tank of the European People’s Party Group – the Center-Right Christian Democratic parties of the European Parliament.  The network brings together politicians business leaders, academics, and policy experts to discuss major issues facing Europe, and coordinates the joint activities of over 40 think tanks and political foundations across the EU. 

Mr. Rifkin’s address outlined the various political initiatives that need to be taken up by governments if Europe is to maintain its global leadership in the battle against climate change.
