Meeting with Prime Minister Janez Janša and Minister Žiga Turk

On February 15^th and 16^th 2008, Mr. Rifkin attended a series of meetings with Slovenia government officials, during Slovenia’s presidency of the Council of the European Union (January-June 2008).  Mr. Rifkin met with European Council President, Prime Minister Janez Janša to advise him on a Third Industrial Revolution strategy for energy security, climate change amelioration, and economic growth for Europe.  Mr. Rifkin also attended meetings with Slovenian Minister for Growth, Žiga Turk, as well as members of the Directorate for Entrepreneurship and Competition and Directorate for Energy.
