Keynote Speech:  “Challenges and Opportunities of Globalization in the 21^st Century”

Mr. Rifkin gave the keynote speech at the 57^th International Association Public Transport World Congress and Exhibition in Helsinki, Finland.  The biennial event brought together over 8,000 members of the international public transport community to discuss issues facing the transport industry and to highlight new innovations.  Mr. Rifkin’s speech focused on the need to make the transition from the internal combustion engine to hydrogen fuel cell vehicles with the goal of achieving a near zero emission target in the world transport market by 2050.
