McCann Worldgroup, a leading global marketing firm, invited Jeremy Rifkin to be the Keynote Speaker to kick off the “Truth About Global Brands Summit,” an event hosted at Bloomberg media in New York. The audience was an “Invite Only” group of marketing leaders from companies including Coca-Cola, General Mills, General Motors, L’Oréal, MasterCard, Microsoft, Nestlé and Reckitt Benckiser among others. Mr. Rifkin delivered an opening speech on the new business models, product lines, and services that will accompany the Internet of Things and the transformation to a zero marginal cost sharing economy.
