Mr. Rifkin was hosted on September 18-19th by Zhang Ruimin, CEO of Haier, for a two-day public conference in Qingdao. The conference aimed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Haier’s new global business plan and operations. Mr. Rifkin was the guest of honor and spoke with the CEO, the board of directors, and the key corporate leadership team. Mr. Rifkin also delivered a keynote address attended by key government dignitaries and industry leaders from across China.
